Artisan Tech
My IT services and custom development business, and its website, which I designed and put into production myself.
- Development
- Infrastructure & networking
Context
I founded Artisan Tech to help three groups around Bordeaux and the Arcachon Bay: individuals (computers, Wi-Fi, printers), small businesses (tools, invoicing, organisation) and project founders (websites, apps, prototypes). One rule: keep it simple, no jargon.
What I did
- I defined the offer and the client journey: a first contact, a conversation, then a proposal.
- I built the website in Django: pages for each audience, a protected contact form, a dedicated visual identity and automated tests that check it on every page.
- I put it into production on alwaysdata with PostgreSQL and HTTPS, security settings checked at every deployment, and an update script.
The result
artisan-tech.fr is live and is where clients come in.
What I took away
Running a business means carrying everything at once: the offer, the technical side and the client relationship. And being able to explain clearly what you do.
